Barcoding

Barcodes are required on all items sold at KidsTown!

Barcode Pick up - Saturday, July 19^th from 10am-12pm at the Agricenter, West Pavilion. 

   Still need barcodes?  Just order your barcodes thru our website by 5pm on Friday and we will have them all ready for you to at this time or during consignor drop off.  You may also bring your order and we can print barcodes on the spot for you!   (Any barcodes ordered by Tuesday (Batch # 1298 and below) have been mailed to you!)

Helpful Hint:  Order Early, Order Extra and have your barcodes handy when you get ready to tag your items.

You MUST register for this sale prior to ordering  barcodes.

·         Why use Barcoding?
     Increased speed and accuracy for consignors and shoppers

 ·         What do I have to do?
     Price your items just as you did before, log in under order barcodes and input the total of barcodes needed. Example: 4 at $6.00   8 at $10.00 etc...

 ·         What about 1/2 price or red tagged items?
     You just have to indicate yes or no regarding if you want the items to go at ½ price.  Like this...3 at $6.00 1/2 price  YES or NO, etc…

 ·         How will I get the barcode stickers?
   Barcodes are FREE!   KidsTown will print the barcodes especially for you with your consignor number and price on each. We will then mail them to your home.

·         What if I need more after you have mailed them?
     No problem! Simply log in and order again and we can send you more. Because this is a trial run, we will be a little forgiving with the mail. In the future, each consignor will receive barcodes in the mail FREE one time. For each time we mail barcodes after that, we will have to charge postage. 

·        What do I do after I get the barcodes?
     The barcodes are little stickers that you peel off and put on your index cards. All you have to do is match the price with the item you are selling and put the sticker over the price in the bottom right corner. (See pictures below)

• What if I order too many  barcodes?   No Problem, just save any unused barcodes for future KidsTown sales.

IMPORTANT Note: Items will be sold at what is priced on the barcode, NOT what is handwritten on the card!  (If you change your mind regarding the price on a item you MUST make a new card and attach correct barcode.)

 ***To receive your barcodes in the mail you will need to order them no later than Tuesday, July 15th.                                                             ***  Barcode orders placed between Wednesday, July 16th and Friday, July 18th at 5pm will be available at drop off.                                                           ***We will also be happy to print Barcodes for you at Drop off (please allow extra time for drop off if getting barcodes at drop off).
