Barcoding
Barcodes are required on all items sold at
KidsTown!
Helpful Hints:
Order Early! Order Extra!
Have your barcodes handy when you get ready to tag your
items.
You MUST
register for this sale prior to ordering barcodes.
Why
use Barcoding?
Increased speed and accuracy for consignors and shoppers.
What do I have to do?
Price your items just as you did before, log in under
"Order Barcodes"
and input the total number of barcodes needed at each price point. Example: 4 at $6.00 8 at
$10.00 etc...
What about 1/2 price items?
You
must indicate Yes or No regarding if you want the items
to go at ½ price. Like this...3 at $6.00 1/2 price? YES or NO
Your barcode will have No Disc if it remains
regular price on
Saturday.
What if I want my item to stay regular price during the half
price sale? When ordering click "No" under
"Allow Discount". Your barcode will have your consignor
#,
price and No Disc (no discount) on the barcode.
How
will I get the barcode stickers?
Barcodes
are FREE and mailed to you! We print the barcodes
you order and mail them to you.
Beginning June 28th Barcodes are mailed each Tuesday and
Friday. Upon receipt of your
Barcodes please check for accuracy. Each barcode must have your
correct consignor number and price of the item.
What if I need more after you have mailed them?
Simply log in and order again and we will send you more.
Please be aware of postage expenses and try to limit the amount of
orders placed.
What do I do after I get the barcodes?
Upon receipt of your Barcodes please
check for accuracy. Each
barcode must have your Consignor #, and price. Then just peel
the barcode sticker and place in the bottom right corner of your
index card.

What if I want to change the price or the discount status on my tag?
A new tag must be made! Do not
cross through the preprinted prices on the barcodes. The
barcodes will be voided if any alterations are made to the
computerized area. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD PER THE BARCODE
PRICE.
What if I order too many barcodes?
Save any unused barcodes for
future
KidsTown
sales. The barcodes do not expire!
IMPORTANT Note:
Items will be sold at what is priced on the barcode,
NOT what is handwritten on the card! (If
you change your mind regarding the price on a item you MUST make a
new card and attach the correct barcode.)
Barcodes ordered Tuesday thru Thursday
will be mailed on Friday.
Barcodes ordered Friday thru Monday will be
mailed on Tuesday.
Again, we cannot express the
importance of verifying your Barcodes! Please
check
for accuracy. Each barcode must have your correct consignor
number and price of the item. If you wish an item to remain at full
price during the KidsTown half price
sale, the barcode MUST have No Disc (no discount) to the right of
the price.
Items
will be sold at the barcode price you place on the item.
Barcodes ordered thru Sunday, July 18, 2010 will
be mailed to you. Barcodes ordered after this date will be
available for pick up during drop off.
We are happy to print barcodes at drop off, however, you must allow
extra time at drop off.
Online Barcode ordering ends on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at
5pm.
All Barcodes ordered after
Sunday, July 18th will be available
for pick up at drop off.
Barcode Registration begins Friday, June 25, 2010.
