Tags with Barcodes are required on all items sold at KidsTown!

You MUST register for this sale prior to ordering  barcodes.

Why do we need to print barcodes?
Increased speed and accuracy for consignors and shoppers.

How will I determine what barcodes I need?

• Begin by making the tags for your items. 

• When you are writing the price on your cards, you will determine if the item will be discounted

• Once the price is written on the card, you may use the worksheet to help in determining the barcodes needed. 

What do I have to do once I have filled out the worksheet?
Log in under "Barcode Entry" and input the total number of barcodes needed at each price point. Example: 4 at $6.00   8 at $10.00 etc...

What about 1/2 price items?
You must indicate Yes or No regarding if you want the items to go at ½ price.  Like this...3 at $6.00   1/2 price?  YES or NO 

Your barcode will have "No Disc" printed next to the price if it is to remain regular price on Saturday.

What if I want my item to stay regular price during the half price sale? When ordering click "No" under "Allow Discount".  Your barcode will have your consignor #, price and No Disc (no discount) on the barcode.

How will I get the barcode stickers?

Great News!  Consignors now print their barcodes at home using labels that are compatible with "Avery 5160" labels. 

What if I don't have a printer at home.  How will I print my barcodes?

• KidsTown is No longer able to mail barcodes to consignors.

• KidsTown is happy to print barcodes for you at drop off.  Just bring a list of barcodes needed to drop off.  Allow plenty of time.  Barcodes must be placed on items before scheduled drop off time.

• A few weeks prior to the sale we will offer a designated day for you to bring your barcode list and have barcodes printed for you.  See below:

Do I need to enter all my barcodes at one time?

You may enter as many barcode orders as you like, but consider that there are 30 labels per page. 

What if I need more barcodes?
Simply log in under "Barcode Entry" and order again. Please make a note of the new batch # so you don't accidentally print the previous batch #.

 What if I want to change the price or the discount status on my tag?

A new tag must be made!  Do not cross through the preprinted prices on the barcodes.  The barcodes will be voided if any alterations are ma de to the computerized area.   ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD PER THE BARCODE PRICE.

What if I order too many barcodes? 

Save any unused barcodes for future KidsTown sales. The barcodes do not expire! 

Reminder: Minimum price is $3 - The only items that may be priced below $3 are books, video's, DVDs, and CDs.

What do the letters located on the barcode mean?

These letters are used to help our volunteers in resorting at the end of the sale.    

Can I reprint a "Batch #"?

Most definitely!  You will go to the "Consignor Account Page" to view and print any of your barcode orders.

What if the labels do not line up when I print the barcodes?  

When you click print a box will appear, make sure "page scaling" is set to " None".  This should correct the problem.

IMPORTANT Note: Items will be sold at what is priced on the barcode, NOT what is handwritten on the card!  (If you change your mind regarding the price on a item you MUST make a new card and attach the correct barcode.) 

If you wish an item to remain at full price during the KidsTown half price sale, the barcode MUST have No Disc (no discount) to the right of the price.    

    Items will be sold at the barcode price you place on the item.

 We are happy to print barcodes at drop off, however, you must allow extra time at drop off.
