Volunteer to shop KidsTown early!
It
takes many people for
KidsTown
to run smoothly. We would love to have you on our Volunteer
Team. Why volunteer? Premier Shopping Time and also it
is lots of fun! Shifts available during the day, evening and
weekends. Unable to volunteer 5 consecutive hours - we are
willing to split your shift during two different days.
Volunteer
Bonus Volunteers

Volunteer 2 five hour shifts or Saturday afternoon Bonus

Shop Tuesday, February 9th at 6pm.

Shop 1/2 price Sale prior to public
Bonus Option #1
Volunteer 2 five hour shifts (10 hours) -
** The
first shift must be volunteered Sunday - Wednesday (first 1/2 of the
week),and the second shift must be volunteered Thursday- Sunday
(second 1/2 of the week).
**1/28/10 ...Due to the tremendous
response we have had with volunteer registrations we are now
allowing Bonus volunteers to schedule both shifts the end of the
week (Thursday thru Sunday).
OR
Bonus Option #2
Volunteer Saturday
afternoon following the event, February 13th from 3:30pm till
10pm. You MUST stay for the entire shift.
This shift is
more physically strenuous than other shifts and not recommended for
those with physical limitations (such as back problems, expecting
moms in their last trimester, etc.) If you volunteer
for this shift and are unable to complete the entire shift you will
loose the privilege of volunteering in future
KidsTown Events.
KidsTown
will provide pizza and drinks for
volunteers during this shift.
*** Six names from those who volunteer this shift
will be drawn to volunteer our next Spring Sale and be the first to shop that
sale.
*** Sorry, No Strollers,
Wagons or Children under the age of 12 are allowed at our Tuesday or
Wednesday Presales.
Men Volunteers
We need a few
strong, healthy men to help!
Duties include checking receipts on
large items, helping customers load large items in their vehicle,
monitoring the floor, etc. What a deal-your husband volunteers
and you get to shop our Bonus Shopping Time!

Thursday, February 11th from 8:45am-2:45pm or
2:00pm-8:00pm,

Friday, February 12th from 9:45am-3:45pm or
1:45pm-7:45pm,

Saturday, February 13th from 8:45am-2:45pm.
Cancelling a Volunteer Shift
We rely on our volunteers to be
responsible and dependable. If you are unable to fulfill your
volunteer obligation and have to cancel for ANY reason, please call
us immediately at 901-569-5543.

deadline for cancelling a volunteer shift is Thursday,
February 4th, 2010. Any
cancellation made after the above date will be subject to penalties
such as not being allowed to volunteer and shop future
KidsTown
presales.
