Volunteer to shop KidsTown early!

     It takes hundreds of volunteers for KidsTown to run smoothly.

  We would love to have you on our Volunteer Team!

Why volunteer?

• Premier Shopping Time and also it is lots of fun!

• Shifts available during the day, evening and weekends.

• Unable to volunteer 5 consecutive hours? - we are willing to split your shift during two different days.

Volunteer

• Volunteer 5 hours 

• Shop Wednesday, February 8^th at 2:00 pm.

Bonus Volunteers

 Saturday Sorter Shift

• Volunteer Saturday afternoon following the event, February 11th from 4pm till sorting complete.  You MUST stay for the entire shift.  

• Shop Tuesday, February 7^th at 4:30 

• Shop 1/2 price Sale prior to public

• This shift is a physically strenuous shift and not recommended for those with physical limitations (such as back problems, expecting moms, etc.) Please make sure you are able to complete the entire shift before registering. 

• If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer obligation please find a replacement (friend, mother, brother, husband, etc...).

• KidsTown will provide pizza and drinks for volunteers during this shift.

*** Sorry, No Strollers, Wagons or Children under the age of 12 are allowed at our Tuesday or Wednesday Presales.

Men Volunteers

• We need a few hard-working, strong, sturdy, healthy men to help!

• Duties include helping move or load large items, monitoring the floor, checking receipts on large items, etc. 

• What a deal-your husband volunteers and you get to shop our Bonus Shopping Time!

• Saturday, February 4^th from 10am-4pm or 1pm-7pm

• Sunday, February 5^th from 9am-3pm or 3pm-9pm

• Monday, February 6^th from 9am-3pm or 1pm-7pm

• Wednesday, February 8^th from 1:45pm-7:45pm

• Thursday, February 9^th from 8:45am-2:45pm or 2:00pm-8:00pm

• Friday, February 10^th from 9:45am-3:45pm-or 12:45pm-6:45pm

• Saturday, February 11^th from 8:45am-2:45pm or 10:00 am - 4:00 pm or 12:00pm-6:00pm

Cancelling a Volunteer Shift

• We rely on our volunteers to be responsible and dependable.

• If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer obligation please do your best to find a replacement (friend, mother, brother, husband, etc...).  If you have to cancel for ANY reason, please call us immediately at 901-569-5543.   

• Deadline for cancelling a volunteer shift is February 2nd..

• Any cancellation made after the above date without finding a replacement will be subject to penalties such as not being allowed to volunteer and shop future KidsTown presales.
